LANGKAWI – The police had completed the investigation paper on the bully case at a secondary school, where a student was assaulted by a group of students.
The Langkawi District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shariman Ashari said, the police recorded the statements from the 13 students involved with the incident before releasing them on police bail.
“All Form 4 students were released today.
“The investigation paper will be referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action,” he said in a media statement today.
Yesterday, MalaysiaGazette reported that the commotion was caused by a misunderstanding. The student was attacked by a group of students at a secondary school here.
The case was exposed after a video clip showing the victim being punched, kicked and stepped on by approximately 10 other students went viral in the social media.
Following that, the police arrested 13 students involved with the incident for investigation.
According to Shariman, the arrest was conducted yesterday between 12.30 pm and 3.00 pm at several locations including the school and houses of the students.
Five of the students are classmates of the victim, meanwhile, eight others are from another class. -MalaysiaGazette
