KUALA LUMPUR – Several areas in the Klang Valley and several other states in Malaysia experienced power outage today.
The major power outage which happened simultaneously at around 12.00 pm today caused public uproar.
The blackout encompassed of Bangi, Serdang, Ampang, Shah Alam, Subang, Kuala Lumpur City centre in the Klang Valley and several other states such as in Kedah, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Pahang.
Several major malls in the Klang Valley also suffered the same fate.
Meanwhile, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) said that its technical team is identifying the cause of the electricity outage.
“We are looking into the cause of the incident and efforts are underway to restore electricity supply. We apologise for the inconvenience caused by the disruption,” it said in a statement. -MalaysiaGazette
