Pihak pendakwaan memfailkan notis rayuan kepada Mahkamah Rayuan pada 26 September tahun lepas terhadap keputusan Mahkamah Tinggi Shah Alam yang membebaskan dan melepaskan Ahmad Zahid, yang kini timbalan perdana menteri, daripada semua pertuduhan selepas memutuskan bahawa pihak pendakwaan tidak dapat membuktikan kes prima facie terhadapnya.
