KUALA LUMPUR – 49 Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday and 14 of them were Brought in Dead (BID) cases.

Based on the data from COVIDNOW, the Covid-19 death toll in Malaysia has reached 29,535 cases.

Sabah recorded the highest number of deaths in the country with 12 cases. It is followed by Perak (9), Sarawak (7), Selangor (7), Terengganu (6), Kelantan (3), Johor (2), Kedah (1), Pahang (1) and Kuala Lumpur (1).

Meanwhile, no death was recorded in Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Penang, Labuan and Putrajaya.

6,928 new Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, and the infection rate has been higher than the recovery rate for three days consecutively in the country.

Meanwhile, there are currently 63,827 active cases nationwide. – MalaysiaGazette
