KUALA LUMPUR – Warning has been issued on 14 rivers nationwide after they exceed the dangerous level this morning.

In Pahang, six rivers have been categorized as exceeding the dangerous level. Paya Gintong at Jerantut has exceeded the 46.24 metres. Waters at the Chegar Perah Bridge at Lipis has also rose to 98.01 metres.

Besides that, the Pukin River at Rompin, Serting River at the Padang Gudang Bridge, Bera and Sungai Rivers at Kampung Subuh, Maran have also exceeded the dangerous water level.

According to InfoBanjir, The Langat River at Bukit Changgang, Kuala Langat has also exceeded 4.35 metres.

Down South in Johor, the warning has been issued on Lenik River at Ladang Chaah, Segamat; Segamat River at Bandar Segamat and Tangkak River at Kampung Seri Makmur, Tangkak.

Besides that, the Muar River at Pekan Rompin, Jempol and the Muar River at Kampung Berembang, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan are also at the dangerous level.

In Melaka, the Melaka River and Kesang River at Telok Rimba, Jasin have also exceeded the dangerous level.

Meanwhile, in the East Coast at Terengganu, the warning was issued on Kemaman River at Rumah Pam Paya Paman, Kemaman after its water level rose to 3.59 metres. -MalaysiaGazette
