AMPANG – The police are investigating a senior judge who allegedly committed sexual harassment on a married woman in 2020.
The Ampang Jaya District Police Chief said that the investigation started right after the police received the report from the victim last December.
The investigation is ongoing after the Deputy Public Prosecutor returned the investigation paper requiring further information on the case.
“Yes, I verify this case and the investigation is ongoing by the police,” he told MalaysiaGazette
Meanwhile, a source told MalaysiaGazette that the victim is a 57 years-old businesswoman. She lodged a police report on the incident early December last year at the Ampang Jaya District Police Headquarters.
According to the police report spotted by MalaysiaGazette, the victim alleged that she received a WhatsApp message from the senior judge in August, requesting to perform his prayers at her house as he was already in front of her house.
Her bedridden husband was at her home when the incident happened.
According to the victim, the judge requested for sarong to pray and he wanted to perform his prayer in her bedroom also he was told that there is a dedicated prayer room in her house.
In her report, the woman stated that she did not know why she gave in to the judge’s request.
After an oddly long time in the room, the woman went to check on the judge and found that he was lying naked on her bed while she was peeping into the room.
The victim then went to sleep in another room after seeing the action of the judge.
The man then woke the victim up at about 3.00 am as he wanted to go home. He managed to tell her that she was beautiful and had strong faith although she was tested by his actions.
The woman alleged that the man continued to visit her at home several times and sexually harassed her, including hugging her and telling her that she has a cute body. -MalaysiaGazette
