KUALA LUMPUR – Thunderstorm and heavy rain is forecasted at the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, and seven other states until 5.00 pm today.
Based on the latest weather forecast issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), the weather warning also involves the whole of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka.
“In Kedah, it involves Kulim and Bandar Baharu, Penang (Seberang Perai Utara, Seberang Perai Tengah and Seberang Perai Selatan), Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak and Kuala Kangsar.
“Meanwhile in Johor, it involves Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Bahru,” said MetMalaysia in a statement today.
Besides that, the situation is also forecasted in Sabah for Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran and Sandakan) and Kudat (Kota Marudu). – MalaysiaGazette
