KUALA LUMPUR – 12 Covid-19 deaths were recorded nationwide yesterday (10 April 2022).

Therefore, the cumulative pandemic death has rose to 35,292 cases.

From the latest figure yesterday, four cases were brought-in-dead (BID).

Sarawak recorded the highest number of deaths with five cases, followed by two in Perak. Meanwhile, Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur recorded one death each.

For the record, 21 Covid-19 deaths were recorded on Saturday (9 Apr).

At the same time, the new daily Covid-19 cases also reduced yesterday with only 8,112 cases reported, shifting the cumulative cases in the country to 4,325,818.

The number of active cases also reduced by 33.9 percent.

The breakdown of Covid-19 positive cases according to the states:
Selangor (4,299), Kuala Lumpur (708), Negeri Sembilan (490), Perak (465, Johor (404), Penang (355), Kedah (257), Melaka (225), Sarawak (224), Terengganu (211), Pahang (193), Sabah (124), Kelantan (98), Perlis (26) Labuan (22) and Putrajaya (11). – MalaysiaGazette
