KUALA LUMPUR – 4,765 new Covid-19 cases have been reported today, said Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Selangor continued to record the highest number of cases in the country with 2,082 cases.

“2,765 Covid-19 cases were reported as expected. It could reach 5,000 cases by the middle of the month.

“Selangor with 2,082, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur 540, Sarawak 405, Johor 348, Kelantan 297, Penang 259, Kedah 226, Perak 172, Negeri Sembilan 122, Melaka 110, Sabah 70, Pahang 63, Terengganu 60, Labuan 6, Putrajaya 4, and Perlis 1 case,” said Dr Noor Hisham.

With the addition of the new cases, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia has shifted to 453,222 cases. -MalaysiaGazette
