KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia broke another Covid-19 record with the highest score of 7,857 new Covid-19 cases being reported within the past 24 hours.

With the new addition, the total tally of Covid-19 cases in the country has shifted to 541,224 cases.

Selangor remained as the largest contributor to the Covid-19 cases in the country with 2,675 daily cases, shifting the cumulative Covid-19 cases in the state to 177,450 cases. The state has been carrying out active case detection via the state’s free Covid-19 screening.

Meanwhile, Sarawak recorded the second highest number of cases in the country with 772 cases followed by Kelantan (754), Kuala Lumpur (561), Johor (549), Kedah (441), Penang (365), Negeri Sembilan (353), Terengganu (282), Pahang (238), Melaka (234), Perak (228), Sabah (217), Labuan (170), Putrajaya (12) and Perlis (6). –MalaysiaGazette
