KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia reported 15,764 new cases of Covid-19 cases today a drop of over 2,000 cases compared to the 17,786 cases reported yesterday.

According to the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the country has recorded a cumulative of 1,146,186 cases to date.

Selangor is still the largest contributor of Covid-19 cases in the country with 6,067 cases. It is followed by Kuala Lumpur (1,536); Johor (1,222); Sabah (1,166); Sarawak (411); Negeri Sembilan (862); Kedah (1,108); Penang (667); Kelantan (552); Perak (748); Melaka (463), Pahang (475) and Terengganu (425).

Labuan recorded 7 cases, Putrajaya (46) and Perlis (9) cases, said Noor Hisham. –MalaysiaGazette
