KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man came up with a new idea since both UMNO and Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) would like to work with PAS in the Melaka state election.
“As all parties have agreed to work with PAS, it would be good for us to use one logo, the PAS logo in the Melaka state election. Think about it,” he wrote in his Facebook status today.
The Deputy President of PAS came up with that idea after UMNO and Bersatu stated their readiness to work with the party. However, Bersatu wanted to use the Perikatan Nasional (PN) logo while UMNO wanted to use the Barisan Nasional (BN) logo in the state election.
It is also the first time for PAS to contest under a political coalition symbol in an election. -MalaysiaGazette
