KUALA LUMPUR – The Covid-19 daily infection in Malaysia continued to increase today by recording 11,034 cases as of this afternoon.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the latest addition has shifted the cumulative cases of the Covid-19 outbreak to 2,925,254 cases.

Yesterday, the nation was shocked with a sudden surge of Covid-19 cases after it breached the five digits mark with 10,089 cases.

The last time the country recorded more than 10,000 cases was on 2 October last year with 10,915 cases.

Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar is scheduled to make several important announcements at 5.00 pm today. -MalaysiaGazette
