KUALA LUMPUR – The retail price for standard chicken in Selangor is RM8.90 per kilogramme, meanwhile, the wholesale price of chicken is set at RM7.60 per kilogramme.
According to the data by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), the retail price for super grade chicken is set at RM9.90 per kilogramme and RM8.90 for wholesale.
Meanwhile, the wholesale price of live chicken is RM6.06 per kilogramme.
Meanwhile, retail price for Grade A eggs is set at RM0.43 each and RM0.41 for wholesale. Grade B eggs are retailed at RM0.41 each and RM0.39 for wholesale wile Grade C eggs are retailed at RM0.39 each and RM0.37 for wholesale.
The maximum price for the items will be implemented until 5 June.
KDPNHEP also gave a reminder that actions will be taken on any retailers who fail to obey the order. -MalaysiaGazette
