KUALA LUMPUR – Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that he did not experience any side effect 24 hours after he was injected with the Covid-19 vaccine.

The Director-General of Health also said that he is feeling healthy and did not experience any pain.

“Alhamdullilah (Praise God), a day after receiving the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, there is no side effect yet. There is no fever or pain at the injection site.

“The vaccine solution was only 0.3ml and the 25 G fine sized syringe needle was used,” he said in a Facebook post today.

Noor Hisham became the third person in the country being injected with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine after Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and a driver at the Putrajaya District Health Office, Clement a/l Marai Francis.

Yesterday, Muhyiddin, who received the Covid-19 vaccine at the Putrajaya District Health Office (PKD) said that he did not experience pain when injected with the vaccine by the Chief Nurse, Sister Lina Ibrahim.

“I don’t feel pain. It’s just like a normal injection,” said Muhyiddin.

The 2021 National Covid-19 Immunisation Prorgamme was launched officially by Muhyiddin yesterday and the vaccine registration through the MySejahtera application was also opened for the public beginning yesterday. –MalaysiaGazette
