KUALA LUMPUR – The number of daily new Covid-19 cases in the country continued to rise to 4,498 cases today, shifting the cumulative number of cases to 432,425.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said, Selangor remained as the state with the highest number of cases in Malaysia after recording 1,424 new cases for the past 24 hours.

He said, this was followed by Sarawak with 750 cases, Kuala Lumpur (436) and Johor (327).

“Perlis also recorded two new cases,” he said in his Facebook post today.

Yesterday, 3,120 Covid-19 positive cases and 19 Covid-19 deaths were reported in the country. -MalaysiaGazette
