KUALA LUMPUR – The number of Covid-19 cases today is higher than yesterday with 5,244 cases.

The latest figure shifted the cumulative Covid-19 score to 711,006 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), Selangor contributed 2,001 cases and it is still holding the record as the biggest contributor to the Covid-19 cases in the country. It is followed by Negeri Sembilan with 677 cases.

Meanwhile, Sarawak recorded 577 cases and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur recorded 531 cases.

Besides that, Johor recorded 282 cases, Pahang (245), Kedah (189), Melaka (180), Penang (159) and Sabah (129).

Kelantan 81 cases, Perak (75), Labuan, 77, Terengganu 27, Putrajaya 13 and Perlis only recorded one case. – MalaysiaGazette
