KUALA LUMPUR – The new Covid-19 cases in the country continued to rise with 4,743 cases recorded today, compared to 4,611 cases yesterday.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that the increment has shifted the Covid-19 tally in the country to 705,762 cases.

He said, all states recorded an increment of cases today and Selangor continued to record the highest number of cases in the country with 1,566 cases.

“Perlis maintained its single-digit record with two Covid-19 infections, followed by Putrajaya with seven cases.

“Meanwhile, other states that recorded less than 200 cases are Kedah (142 cases), Sabah (193 cases), Labuan (104 cases), Penang (195 cases), Pahang (131 cases), Terengganu (37 cases), Perak (68 cases), Kelantan (165 cases) and Melaka (167 cases),” he said in his Facebook post today. –MalaysiaGazette
