KUALA LUMPUR – 5,911 new Covid-19 cases were reported today, a slight drop compared to the 6,440 cases yesterday.

The latest development has shifted the Covid-19 tally in Malaysia to 691,115 cases.

Selangor continued to record the highest number of daily cases with 2,111 cases. The increment contributed to a total of 226,455 cumulative cases in the state. It is followed by Negeri Sembilan (770 cases), Sarawak (569), Johor (498) and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur (483 cases).

Meanwhile, Pahang and Putrajaya recorded less than 100 cases each, with 56 cases in Pahang and 3 cases in Putrajaya.

Meanwhile, Perlis did not record any new Covid-19 case for the past 24 hours. –MalaysiaGazette
