KOTA KINABALU – The Sabah State Government will implement its first phase of National Recovery Plan (NRP) by maintaining a big portion of the standard operating procedures (SOP) in the Movement Control Order (MCO) 3.0 beginning tomorrow, said its Chief Minister, Datuk Hajiji Noor.

He said, through the first phase of NRP, several social and economic activities are allowed to operate, among them include, dining-in at restaurants, eateries and hotel premises, roadside stalls selling vegetables, fish and fruits and hair salons.

“The details on the SOP for Sabah state will be issued soon,” he said in a statement today.

Hajiji said, non-contact sports and recreational activities such as exercises, golf, fishing and cycling are allowed during the first phase of NRP in Sabah.

He said, manufacturing activities permitted to operate will also be extended to rubber, cement and paint, besides wood-based factories and furniture.

The Sabah Government had implemented the MCO 3.0 from 1 June until 14 June before it was extended until today (28 June). –MalaysiaGazette
