KUALA LUMPUR – 2,130,051 individuals or 6.5 percent of the Malaysian population have completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine as of today.

In addition, the Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said, 5,463,128 individuals have received their first dose of vaccine.

Selangor is the state with the highest number of recipients who completed two doses of vaccine with 275,098 doses, followed by Sarawak with 240,232 doses.

Based on the record, as of yesterday, the 7,593,179 doses of vaccine have been dispensed under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

The third Phase of PICK that began on 21 June witnessed 99 percent of the senior citizens either getting their first dose of vaccine or receiving an appointment for their vaccine. –MalaysiaGazette
