SHAH ALAM – Disheartening and terrifying. That is how we feel when we see the crowd of Covid-19 patients in a long queue of over 500 metres, reporting themselves at the Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) at the Malawati Stadium today.

It is heart-wrenching to witness children and babies in the queue and they had to wait under the hot sun since 11.00 am this morning.

MalaysiaGazette found that the public has been lining up since 10.00am and the queue was so long that it reached the parking lot next to the Malawati stadium.

There was only one white tent at the queue to place individuals who had difficulty in breathing or showing serious symptoms of the pandemic.

Most of the visitors were prepared and brought along their suitcase of clothing and other essential items such as pillows and buckets, as if, they knew that they will be sent to the quarantine centre after the health assessment.
