A Civil servant was among the 15 individuals nabbed by the police for attending a wild party at a luxury condominium at Jalan Ceylon early this morning.

KUALA LUMPUR – A civil servant was among the 15 individuals nabbed by the police for attending a wild party at a luxury condominium at Jalan Ceylon early this morning.

In the operation which began at 1.00 am, a team of police from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID) and Integrity and Standard Compliance Department of the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters (IPD) arrested six men and nine women aged between 17 and 45 years-old.

Dang Wangi District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said that 11 suspects including eight women were tested positive for drugs in urine test.

“The raid on a unit at the luxury residence found 15 individuals including nine women having wild party without realising the presence of the police.

“Police inspection in the unit found traces of forbidden substances such as drugs. The unit also has speakers and disco lighting.

“All suspects have violated the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the National Recovery Plan (PPN) for socialising,” he said in a statement today.

All suspects were brought to the Dang Wangi IPD for further investigation under Section 15(1) Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Regulation 17(1) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 2021.

“A remand order on all suspects was obtained until 8 August to help the police in completing the investigation for further action,” he said. –MalaysiaGazette
