Shuib Sepahtu Siti Sarah succumbs to Covid-19 dies passed away

KUALA LUMPUR – Singer, Siti Sarah Raissuddin passed away at 5.13 am this morning at the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital today.

Her husband, Shuib Sepahtu, or his real name, Shahmira Muhamad, shared the sad news of her demise in an Instagram post this morning.

Allahyarham Siti Sarah was seven-month pregnant when she was admitted into the hospital after being tested positive with Covid-19 on 25 July.

Siti Sarah and her whole family went for Covid-19 screening after their domestic helper was tested positive for the disease.

Last Friday, 6 August, she underwent a caesarean surgery in order to save the life of her fourth child and successfully gave birth to a baby boy at around 5.00 pm. He was given the name Ayash Affan.

However, her condition got worse and she continued to get treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Her oxygen level was reported to drop last night.

Siti Sarah and Shuib got married on 26 February 2011. Besides their newborn boy, they have three other children; Uwais Alqarni (10), Dzahira Talita Zahra (8) and Ariq Matin (6). – MalaysiaGazette
