Every day, there’s almost always something to smile about.
Cancer is just another chapter and not the whole story in my book of life. When cancer happened, I never want to put my life on hold even in the midst of my treatments. I’m busy with living, because I live in the now. Tomorrow is another day, and when it comes, it comes.
I truly believe that life becomes more purposeful when we’re doing something good.
So, every day that I wake up is not only a blessing for me, it is also another opportunity to be a blessing to someone else.
Last week I went to University of Malaya Medical Centre again. This time for the drawing of my blood sample. This will be for a clinical study conducted by PPUM Clinical Oncology Clinic that I’m participating. It is to study the immune response among cancer patients after getting Pfizer vaccine. This study will take a year, where I will be giving blood samples and participate in questionnaire and interviews.
I will consider this one of efforts to do my bit for community service, and my contribution to medical science.
The great Mahatma Ghandi said, happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony. Alhamdulillah, I am happy.
