KUALA LUMPUR – The authority has arrested the woman who shared her dine-in pictures at several restaurants without having full vaccination.

The alleged ‘social experiment’ by the woman and her husband had created public anxiety after they violated the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the National Recovery Plan (PPN).

The South Klang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shamsul Amar Ramli said, they received the report on ‘Mujaheeda Soleha’ social media post after it went viral.

“The woman (Mujaheeda Soleha) uploaded a statement on her social experiment of entering several shops and dine-in experience with her husband and children despite they have yet to complete their vaccination.

“The owner of the social media account also uploaded a statement that created public anxiety and fear,” he said in a statement today.

According to Shamsul Amar, acting on the complaint, the police made an arrest on the man and woman in Klang.

“Both suspects, husband and wife, were arrested on Monday at around 5.00pm at their home in Bandar Putera 2. They are aged 35 and 36 and are believed to be involved in the case,” he said.

The police are investigating the case under Section 269 and Section 505 (b) of the Penal Code, Section 22(b) of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and Section 233 of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Act.

“The couple was not remanded. On the contrary, we have taken their statements at South Klang IPD yesterday and they are released on police remand. Meanwhile, we will complete the investigation papers and bring the case to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action,” he said. –MalaysiaGazette
