JOHOR BAHRU – The Crown Prince of Johor (TMJ) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim will be contacting Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar over the shortage of Covid-19 vaccine following reports on the cancellation of vaccination appointment.
TMJ issued the statement after a statement from Muhammad Shafiq Mohd Shafiai went viral following the cancellation of his Covid-19 vaccination first dose appointment.
According to that man, his appointment yesterday was cancelled due to the shortage of vaccine.
In his writing, the man said that vaccination will only be done for individuals who are receiving their second dose only.
The incident took place at the Educity Sports Complex Vaccination Centre (PPV) at Nusa Jaya yesterday at around 2.30 pm.
Meanwhile, Tunku Ismail also ordered the Menteri Besar of Johor Datuk Hasni Mohammad, Johor State Secretary Datuk Azmi Rohani and Health Director Datuk Dr Rabu Aman to have an audience with him today.
“I will also raise the issue on the Educity PPV and vaccination programme for factory workers during the meeting tomorrow,” he said in his official Facebook last night. –MalaysiaGazette
