KUALA LUMPUR – 35 new Covid-19 deaths were recorded yesterday in Malaysia, shifting the death toll of the disease to 31,369 cases.

From that amount, six cases were brought in dead (BID), said the Ministry of Health (MOH).

Selangor recorded the highest number of deaths with 11 cases, followed by Penang (5) and Perak (4).

Johor and Kuala Lumpur recorded three deaths each, meanwhile, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan and Sabah recorded two cases respectively.

Melaka, Pahang and Kedah had one Covid-19 death each.

According to MOH, no new death was recorded in Putrajaya, Perlis, Sarawak, Terengganu and Labuan yesterday. -MalaysiaGazette
