KUALA LUMPUR – 34 Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday nationwide.

At the same time, 11 of the cases were brought in dead (BID), the Ministry of Health (MOH) shared the data via COVIDNOW.

To date, the cumulative deaths due to the coronavirus in Malaysia has hit 31,462 cases.

Perak recorded the highest number of deaths yesterday in the country with eight cases, followed by Sabah (7), Johor (4), Kelantan (3), Pahang (3), Selangor (3), Terengganu (2), Kedah (1), Melaka (1), Perlis (1) and Kuala Lumpur (1).

Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Sarawak, Labuan and Putrajaya did not record any death.

According to the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, the infection rate in the country is 0.98. -MalaysiaGazette
