KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia recorded 19,090 Covid-19 cases today, an increment from the 17,134 cases reported yesterday.

This is also the highest number of infections in the last 149 days since 15 September last year.

With the new increment, the cumulative Covid-19 cases has reached 2,956,332, said the Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

“On 10 February 2022, the number of Covid-19 cases reported was 19,090 cases, turning the cumulative to 2,975,422 cases,” said Noor Hisham in a Tweet.

According to him, from the daily cases today, 113 cases (0.59 percent) were Category 3, 4 and 5.

Meanwhile, 18,977 cases (99.41%) were Category 1 and 2.

The breakdown of cases is as follows:

Category 1: 4,898 cases (25.66%)

Category 2: 14,079 cases (73.75%)

Category 3: 79 cases (0.41%)

Category 4: 28 cases (0.15%)

Category 5: 6 cases (0.03%)
