KUALA LUMPUR – Senior Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has been tested positive of Covid-19.
He, who has received his Covid-19 booster dose is undergoing quarantine according to the requirements of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
According to his office, Hishammuddin went for a routine Covid-19 RT-PCR test on top of his frequent RTK Antigen self-test.
The last time he did a RT-PCR was on 18 February, and he was tested negative.
“Hishammuddin will continue to overlook and carry out his duties accordingly during his isolation period,” said the statement.
The office of the Senior Minister of Defence also wished him and everyone infected by Covid-19 a speedy recovery. -MalaysiaGazette
