KUALA LUMPUR – Senior Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has been allowed to discharge from the hospital after undergoing quarantine at the Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital since last Wednesday.
He said, the medical team were satisfied with his health condition as he has recovered from mild symptoms after being tested positive of Covid-19 since last Tuesday.
However, he will continue to undergo home-quarantine according to the requirements of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
“Alhamdullilah (Praise Allah), based on the assessment this morning, my symptoms have recovered. Generally, the medical team was satisfied with my health condition,” he said in a statement.
Hishammuddin accorded his appreciation to the medical team from the Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital who treated him throughout his admission.
Last Wednesday, he verified that he was undergoing mandatory isolation at the hospital after being tested positive for Covid-19. -MalaysiaGazette
