SHAH ALAM – Satu operasi besar-besaran berkaitan perintah kawalan pergerakan akan dijalankan oleh Polis Kontijen Selangor mulai pukul 8 malam ini.
Menurut Ketua Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah, Senior Asisten Komisioner, Datuk Fadzil Ahmat, operasi tersebut bagi memastikan secara umumnya masyarakat di negeri faham dengan perintah kawalan pergerakan yang telah dikuatkuasakan sejak hari ini.
Kata beliau, banyak aduan diterima tentang orang awam yang masih berada di luar rumah sekaligus membuktikan golongan ini gagal memahami perintah yang dikeluarkan.
“Jadi kita lakukan operasi bermula malam ini bagi memastikan tidak ada sesiapa yang berada di luar tanpa alasan munasabah, berada dalam kumpulan besar. Kita akan beri pemahaman serta nasihat kepada mereka untuk akur dengan perintah.
“Kita akan nasihat mereka untuk balik seandainya ada lagi yang berada di luar rumah, operasi ini juga melibatkan seluruh negeri di mana kita ada 16 daerah secara keseluruhannya.
“Ketua Polis Daerah pula akan membuat ‘roadblock’ di setiap kawasan mereka bagi memantau aktiviti orang awam sebelum nasihat mereka pulang, ketika ini kita akan masih gunakan kaedah nasihat,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas sesi taklimat sebentar tadi.
Kata Fadzil lagi, pihaknya juga tidak akan teragak-agak untuk mengambil tindakan tegas termasuk tangkapan dan membuka kerta siasatan kepada mereka yang degil.
“Kita akan guna kuasa di bawah Seksyen 3 Akta Pencegahan dan Pengawalan Penyakit Berjangkit (Akta 342) bagi melaksanakan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan yang dikuatkuasakan sekarang.
“Operasi ini akan bermula sekitar jam 8 malam dan akan berakhir hanya selepas kita berpuas hati setiap rakyat di negeri ini mematuhi arahan dibawah perintah kawalan ini,” tegasnya. –MalaysiaGazette
