KUALA LUMPUR – The Supreme Council (MT) of UMNO will have a virtual meeting at 4.00 pm tomorrow.
The meeting was verified by the Supreme Council of UMNO, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan in his Facebook post today.
He said, the emergency meeting would focus on the latest political issues.
“An online Special UMNO Supreme Council Meeting will be held at 4.00 pm tomorrow, 3 August. This emergency meeting will discuss about the latest political issues.
“Among them include, the media statement from Istana Negara and letter from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Emergency and its Ordinance and the adjourn of Parliament sitting,” he said.
The last time the UMNO Supreme Council met was on 7 July and it decided to withdraw its support for Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin with immediate effect. –MalaysiaGazette
