KUALA LUMPUR – Comedian, Shuib Sepahthu accepts the passing of his beloved wife, Siti Sarah Raissuddin due to Covid-19 complications early this morning.

However, Shuib, or his real name, Shahmira Muhamad said that his challenge lies in delivering the sad news to his children.

He added, his children Uwais Alqarni, 10, Dzahira Talita Zahra, 8 and Ariq Matin, 6, and him had the opportunity to make a video call to Siti Sarah who was critically ill in the hospital last night.

“I made the video call with the help of the doctors and nurses so that my children could see the situation of their mother. I could see tears on Siti Sarah’s cheeks, as if she could hear the conversation between our children and I about her.

“After my children sleep, I went to the hospital last night right after the Yassin recitation and prayer through the Zoom Meeting application.

“However, I was not allowed to meet her and I went home,” he said when met at the Mortuary of the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital, UKM (HCTM) today.

Her body will be laid to rest next to her mother’s grave at the Kampung Sungai Pusu Islamic Cemetery in Gombak at 12.00 pm today.

“She requested to be buried next to her mother. Each time we discussed about death, she mentioned that she wished to be laid to rest next to her mother’s grave,” he said.

Shuib also promised to take care of their four children well.

“She managed to give me Ayash Affan, who was born last Friday. She had to fight to save our son. However, Allah loves her more.

“The name Ayash Affan was chosen by her. According to her, it is the name of a fighter in Gaza,” he said.

Siti Sarah, 36, took her last breath at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital due to Covid-19 at 5.13 am this morning.

The demise of the singer of Semakin was shared by Shuib on his Instagram.

The mother of four was fighting for her life due to Covid-19 complications after she was put to sleep for over 48 hours.
