KUALA LUMPUR – Two former ministers namely, Datuk Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad al-Bakri and Datuk Dr. Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali have been dropped from the new Cabinet under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

Zulkifli was previously the Minister at Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) and he is now replaced by Senator Idris Ahmad. Meanwhile, Mohd. Khairuddin, the former Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC) is replaced by Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.

Meanwhile, in his Facebook post, Zulkifli expressed his gratitude that the new Cabinet list has been announced by the Prime Minister.

 

“Congratulations to the Cabinet members, especially YB Senator Tuan Haji Idris Ahmad, Minister at Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs). Not forgetting, YB Datuk Ahmad Marzuk Shaary as the Deputy Minister.

“I apologise to everyone in the Federal religious agencies under the Minister at Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) if I have hurt you while we were working together.

“I pray that our beloved country will continue to prospers, advance and rise during the Covid-19 pandemic era,” he said. –MalaysiaGazette
