KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia recorded another 14,554 Covid-19 cases today, shifted the cumulative cases in the country to 2,171,232.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that Sarawak topped the national chart with 2,825 cases, followed by Selangor with 2,244 positive cases.

They are followed by Johor with 1,806 daily cases, Sabah (1,273), Penang (1,231) and Perak (1,144).

“Kelantan recorded 910 cases, Kedah (908), Terengganu (690), Pahang (598), Melaka (401), Kuala Lumpur (271), Negeri Sembilan (157), Perlis (65), Putrajaya (30). Meanwhile, Labuan did not record any Covid-19 positive cases,” he said.

The country recorded 13,754 Covid-19 positive cases yesterday, meanwhile, 16,628 patients have recovered from the disease. -MalaysiaGazette
