KUALA LUMPUR – 68 Covid-19 deaths were recorded yesterday. Based on the latest information on  COVIDNOW, 12 Covid-19 patients were brought in dead (BID), before they managed to get treatment in the hospital.

The total number of death due to the pandemic has now reached 27,593 cases.

Sarawak recorded the highest number of new deaths with 16, meanwhile, Johor recorded 9. They are followed by Perak (8), Kelantan (6), Sabah (6) and Terengganu (4).

Five states recorded three deaths each in Melaka, Pahang, Perlis, Penang and Selangor.

Meanwhile, Kedah and Negeri Sembilan recorded two deaths each.

Besides that, no new Covid-19 death was recorded in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan.

The website also showed that there are 106,047 active cases in the country at the moment, a reduction of 2,950 cases from the day before. -MalaysiaGazette
