KUALA LUMPUR – “We did not upgrade our train for you to wash your hands there,” RapidKL Twitted today.

Together with the twit, @AskRapidKL uploaded a video footage of a woman washing her hands on the train by pouring water from her drinking bottle onto the floor of a Light Rail Transit (LRT).

RapidKL also wished that other passengers would not copy the appalling action of the woman.

“We hope that nobody will follow this action / behaviour and may all passengers be more responsible and ethical when boarding a train,” it said.

Meanwhile, a netizen replied to the Twit, alleging that the woman was often spotted not wearing her mask on the train.

According the netizen, the woman often board the train from the Bukit Bintang or Pasar Seni station and disembark at the Sri Raya station.

Meanwhile, another netizen requested RapidKL to place its enforcers to monitor and ensure such incident would not repeat itself.

“Where were the enforcers from RapidKL to take appropriate action? Are you going to take action only after a passenger slips, falls and injures himself or herself when the train moves?” @dasonm questioned. – MalaysiaGazette
