KUALA LUMPUR – “Insya-Allah (God willing), I will perform the istikarah prayer,” the former Vice-President of PKR, Razifi Ramli replied to a Tweet by @reformist,  @reformist_ urging for his return to the political stage.

“I have been thinking for a long time to reply to the Tweet of @reformist. I need to ask my family, discuss with my shareholders, team members at work (my cat, Kristy would definitely disagree).

“When we take the political route, our intention must be right,” said Rafizi.

Several PKR supporters urged him to be active in the party again after he has been keeping it low in the political arena for a while.

“Bro @rafiziramli, please make a comeback. I no longer know the direction of the country. Please bro, we still have jobs to do. Malaysia still needs your service. Let’s start from the bottom. The reformation agenda must be completed for our children,” the @reformist Tweeted.

“It is a great loss as @rafiziramli is truly ideal in redeveloping our country. His ideas are usually good and constructive.

“Please. It was his campaign that I confidently voted for Mahathir’s party at my area. Otherwise, I would have voted PAS,” @pcarbee supported the Tweet.

“Replace Anwar Ibrahim. As long as Anwar still leads PKR, the performance of the party will continue to drop. The Johor state election will become the fourth example after the Sabah, Melaka and Sarawak state election. PKR got 2 seats (Sabah) and zero in Melaka and Sarawak. The most it will get in Johor state election is four,” said @SchmuelsonsR.

“If it’s me, I would propose for @rafiziramli to be the Deputy President of PKR. @saifnasution as the President, @anwaribrahim as the general chief of PKR. So, @anwaribrahim can focus as the Chairman of PH to strengthen PH and not worry about PKR,” @Muhammad_9802 suggested.

Rafizi retired from politics right after the High Court discharged and acquitted him from the 30 months Banking and Financial Institutions Act (Bafia) sentence on 15 November 2019.

The release was made after Rafizi won the appeal against the sentence and conviction by the Sessions Court after he was found guilty for exposing four bank accounts related to the National Feedlot Corporation (NFC) and its Chairman.

After his acquittal, he announced that he has no interest to return to the politics or carry key positions in the political arena. -MalaysiaGazette
