KUALA LUMPUR – 37 Covid-19 deaths were recorded as of yesterday midnight (20 Feb) and 10 of the deaths were brought in dead (BID) who died before getting treatment at the hospital.

Based on the data shared by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on  COVIDNOW, the Covid-19 death toll in Malaysia has reached 32,347 cases.

Johor recorded the highest number of cases (9 cases) followed by Selangor with seven cases, Kedah (six), Perak (four), Sabah (four), Penang (three) and Pahang (two). Meanwhile, Melaka and Labuan recorded one death each.

No Covid-19 death was reported in Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, Sarawak, Terengganu, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

On another development, the website also reported 251,678 active cases in the country, an increment of 8,336 cases from the day before. At the same time, 7,524 are still in the hospital.

It also shared that 238,620 individuals (94.8 percent) are under home-quarantine, meanwhile, 5,287 Covid-19 patients (2.1 percent) are admitted into the Covid-19 Quarantine and Treatment Centre (PKRC). – MalaysiaGazette
