KUALA LUMPUR – 115 Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday. From that amount, 36 cases were brought-in-dead (BID).

With the new figure, the cumulative Covid-19 deaths in the country has reached 32,942 cases.

According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), the highest number of deaths was recorded in Johor (25 cases), followed by Sabah (24), Selangor (18), Kedah and Negeri Sembilan with eight Covid-19 deaths each.

Meanwhile Perak recorded 7 Covid-19 deaths, Pahang and Kuala Lumpur recorded six cases each, Kelantan (4), Penang (3), Melaka and Perlis recorded two deaths respectively, Sarawak and Terengganu reported one death each.

As of 9.00 am today (3 March), there were 293,479 active cases in Malaysia.

From that amount, 360 cases were receiving treatment at the intensive care unit and 194 cases required respiratory support.

According to the data from COVIDNOW, https://covidnow.moh.gov.my/, 27,557 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the disease.

The cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 3,496,090 cases, with 27,500 new cases being recorded yesterday. –MalaysiaGazette
