Gerakan Pejuang Nasional GPN Mahathir Mohamad

KUALA LUMPUR – A poster circulating in the social media implicating former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has attracted the attention of political observers.

According to the Politik Malaysia Terkini Facebook page, the Chairman of Parti Pejuang Tanahair (Pejuang) is allegedly gathering a new political coalition and it will be named Gerakan Pejuang Nasional (GPN).

“Dr Mahathir will be setting up Gerakan Pejuang Nasional (GPN) among the opposition parties,” said the post.

It was understood that the members of the coalition would include Pejuang, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), Piagam Rakyat, PAS, Gerakan and Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan).

MalaysiaGazette is in the midst of getting the verification of Dr Mahathir.

Last Friday, the former Prime Minister said that a coalition between the political parties would emerge to fight Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 15th General Election (GE15).

He said, the opinion was raised by the opposition parties as the rift among them would only benefit BN. He also said that Pejuang is seeking new coalition partners for GE15. -MalaysiaGazette
