Hit and run Perodua Bezza SKVE driving against traffic accident

KUALA LUMPUR – A Perodua Bezza driver went viral in the social media yesterday for hit and run and driving against traffic at the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE).

Although the police had arrested the suspect, they are looking for witnesses of the hit and run incident which caused injuries to two motorcyclists.

The Kuala Langat District Police Chief, Superintendent Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd Nor @ Saleh said, the incident happened at around 2.49 pm yesterday when a Honda Dash rider saw a Perodua Bezza stopping at the emergency lane towards Bandar Saujana Putra from Pulau Indah and decided to stop in front of the car. However, the car suddenly moved and hit the motorcycle from the side, causing the motorcyclist to fall and injured his arms and legs.

After hitting the Honda Dash, the Perodua Bezza driver drove against traffic at the emergency lane and hit another motorcycle, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown off his bike.

“After the first hit and run, the Perodua Bezza continued against traffic at the emergency lane and upon reaching KM30.1 of the SKVE, he hit a Yamaha LC 135 which was heading towards Bandar Saujana Putra from Banting.

“The situation caused the victim to be thrown off his bike and hit the ground. He sustained injuries on both his arms and legs,” he said in a statement today.

Ahmad Ridhwan said, both victims were brought to the Banting Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the Perodua Bezza driver was arrested at the hospital after he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance from the scene and he is currently being detained in the ward for his head injuries. He has not been remanded due to his injuries.

Therefore, Ahmad Ridhwan requested people who witnessed the accidents to come forward and help the police with their investigation.
