KUALA LUMPUR – PLUS anticipated 2 million vehicles on its expressways today in conjunction with the Yang DiPertuan Agong’s Birthday today which is also concurrent with the school holidays.

According to the Chief Operating Officer of PLUS Malaysia Berhad, Datuk Zakaria Ahmad Zabidi, the situation would cause longer travel time. Therefore, he advised all motorists to be careful and obey the traffic rules due to the high traffic volume.

Zakaria also recommended all motorists to plan their journey wisely.

“Plan your journey with the PLUS, Waze or Google Map mobile application,” he said in a statemen today.

He also advised all motorists to ensure sufficient balance in their Touch ‘n Go (TnG) to avoid congestion at the toll.

“Users of Radio-frequency identification (RFID) are encouraged to enter and exit using the RFID lane,” he said in a statement.

Zakaria also reminded all motorists to rest every two hours at the Rest and Relaxation (R&R) nearby. -MalaysiaGazette
