KUALA LUMPUR – The individual who claimed that Nor Hizwan Ahamd, the Political Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Local Government was involved in collecting political funds through third party has made an apology.

The man, who introduced himself as Fadzil said, the open apology is made after Hizwan lodged a police report yesterday.

“I, Fadzil, with this, wish to make an open apology to Hizwan, the Political Secretary to Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin.

“I apologise and wish to inform that Hizwan has never requested or instructed anyone to receive any money from me or from anyone else,” he said in a video to MalaysiaGazette.

Fadzil also said that there were some misunderstandings on the matter, thus, he would like to apologise to Hizwan.

“I am sorry as there were some misunderstandings. I apologise to Hizwan and the ministry and anyone who is offended by my action.

“I hope that this apology can be accepted,” he added.

Yesterday, Hizwan strongly denied that he was involved in raking political funds from third party to conduct political programmes in Shah Alam.

Following that, Hizwan lodged a police report at the Ampang Jaya Police Station.
