KUALA LUMPUR – UMNO will rise with a renewed and more powerful spirit if the people gives the party a chance to be the government in the coming general election.
Its President, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said, based on experience, knowledge, skills throughout the 75 years of the party providing service of the people, UMNO would be more mature, and it has more experience from various challenges.
“UMNO has more experience from various challenges for the past three years since the dark moment on 9 May 2018, when UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) failed to defend the government in the 14th General Election.
“Since then, we have faced various challenges to witness loyalty as the main core of a plight,” he said in a Facebook post.
Ahmad Zahid said, UMNO now understands the aspiration that it must fulfil and promises that the party would return as the core of administration.
“The maturity of UMNO is a continuous process and when we are lifted again, Insya-Allah, we would be greater,” he said. –MalaysiaGazette
