KUALA LUMPUR – The number of Covid-19 cases in the country has dropped to 18,815 cases compared to 19,495 cases reported yesterday.

With the latest addition, the cumulative Covid-19 cases in the country has shifted to 2,049,750.

Director-General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said that Sarawak, which recorded 4,709 yesterday has decreased to 3,660 cases today. The cumulative cases in land of hornbill is 170,672 cases.

Meanwhile, Selangor, which recorded 2,710 cases yesterday has a slight increment of 8 cases today with 2,718 cases. It has recorded cumulative cases of 651,640 cases.

Johor recorded 2,206 cases today with cumulative score of 172,291 cases.

Meanwhile, Sabah recorded 1,982 cases, Penang 1,777 cases, Perak 1,446 cases, Kedah 1,233 cases and recorded Kelantan 1,222 cases.

Eight states recorded less than 1,000 cases of Covid-19 cases, namely, Terengganu (814), Pahang (712), Kuala Lumpur (493), Melaka (269), Negeri Sembilan (170), Perlis (80), Putrajaya (22) and Labuan (11). – MalaysiaGazette
