MASJID TANAH – The Japerun Tanjung Bidara Complex that became the nomination centre for N.02 Tanjung Bidara State Assembly Seat has witnessed the emergence three candidates as at 9.00 am this morning.

The first candidate, Zainal Hassan from Pakatan Harapan (PH) -PKR, arrived at 8.10 am this morning. The Malaysian Armed Forces veteran who was clad in red Baju Melayu marched to the nomination centre along with his proposer and seconder.

The second to arrive was the Member of Parliament (MP) of Masjid Tanah, Datuk Seri Mas Ermieyati Samsudin, who reached the centre at 8.51 am along with her proposer and seconder who were dressed in red Baju Melayu.

The last to arrive was the Melaka UMNO Communications Chairman, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Jusoh, who made it there at 8.55 am to submit his nomination form for the Melaka State Election.

Earlier, former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was seen accompanying Ab Rauf outside the Japerun Tanjung Bidara Hall Complex.

This is one of the 28 nomination centres for the Melaka State Election.
