KUALA LUMPUR – Another 45 Covid-19 deaths were reported yesterday, shifting the cumulative deaths in the country to 29,676. From that amount, 12 cases were Brought in Dead (BID).

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said that Kedah recorded eight deaths, which is also the highest number of deaths in the country. It is followed by Penang and Selangor with seven Covid-19 deaths each.

Perak and Sarawak recorded four deaths each, meanwhile, Terengganu, Kelantan and Sabah recorded three Covid-19 deaths respectively.

There were two cases in Kuala Lumpur and Melaka and one case each in Johor and Negeri Sembilan.

No new Covid-19 death was reported in Putrajaya, Pahang, Perlis and Labuan.

According to the ministry, 43 out of 45 deaths happened during the last seven days, meanwhile, 2 Covid-19 deaths took place more than a week ago.

Based on the latest development, 861 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in November as of yesterday. -MalaysiaGazette
